Knoxville, TN – July 14, 2008 – What is big, purple and coming to Knoxville Zoo? It's Barney! Join Barney and his friends the Berenstain Bears from PBS Sprout™ on Saturday, July 19 at Knoxville Zoo.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch and participate as Barney performs his 20-minute
Sing-Along at the zoo's News Sentinel Amphitheatre (Bird Show stage) at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Limited seating is available.
Popular Sprout characters, the Berenstain Bears, will be available at the Comcast Sponsor Village in the zoo's plaza at various times throughout the day for photo opportunities and to greet guests.
Guests are encouraged to bring a copy of their current Comcast billing statement to receive a free child's admission with a paid adult admission or $5 off a Knoxville Zoo annual membership. A current Comcast account statement must be presented at the time of purchase to receive the discount. Limit two free children's admissions per statement or one membership discount per statement.
