KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- Guests will take pleasure in the
chance to observe the beautiful mystery of swallowtails,
fritillaries, and other new butterfly species recently released in Knoxville Zoo's newest exhibit Bloomin' Butterfly Gardens.
Many guests have enjoyed the Bloomin’'Butterfly Gardens
exhibit since its opening in March, but there is a pristine
immersion of color with the addition of new species of "fluttering wings." Guests will have the opportunity to enter Bloomin' Butterfly Gardens and get up-close and personal with a flurry of butterfly kisses. The exhibit features hundreds of butterflies; lovely garden pathways and a unique occasion to have these flying flowers sit gently on your shoulder.
"This exhibit is constantly changing with additional species of butterflies, bold colors and fresh sights for visitors," said Sarah Glass, special exhibits curator at Knoxville Zoo. "Guests will want to come again and again throughout the season to witness the changes and learn about the many different butterfly species."
The butterflies featured in the Bloomin' Butterfly Gardens exhibit at Knoxville Zoo are North American butterflies. The exhibit was built by the experts at Spineless Wonders and is presented by WBIR-TV 10.
